The Cockroach Poem Analysis

The Cockroach sitting under the seat,

With his small black body and quick little feet,

I got up out of my chair and saw him and said quickly,

“Get me a broom! And hurry!” He told Mickey.

The Cockroach started leaping around,

Just like a lost dog, now found,

The tiny Cockroach was scared to death!

He knew that a broom meant swift death,

So the Cockroach went up and jumped on the couch,

And sat there, sort of crouched,

Just like a tiger ready to pounce.

On anything as big as an ounce.

But I caught up to the Cockroach, that sneaky cow,

And I brought down the broom on his head just like KA-POW!

And everything was quiet thereafter…
